There are also a few bumpy stretches of highway where no matter what I do, if I'm going over 50mph, my jeep wants to start some DW symptoms. I frequently drive 30-45mph or so on washboarded dirt country/forest roads.sometimes slick with sand, gravel, water, ice and whatnot. Even some of the poor highways with bad dips and jumps have me wondering. Maybe I'm wrong but I could imagine constant toe changes causing weird steering behavior off-road at higher speeds, like on washboard roads, desert dunes or gravel roads. Now granted thats greatly exaggerated over my 2.5" of lift, but I still don't like the idea of constant toe changes as the suspension cycles going down the road (or trail). It wasn't death wobble - I could literally see the front tires toe in a few inches, then toe out a few inches with every suspension cycle. He bounced about 5 times every time he hit a bump, and with every cycle I could see the toe change on the front tires. I followed him for a few miles.looked to have Rancho adjustable shocks which were valved very soft. I followed a ZJ with about 7-8" of lift down the road the other day, looked to be on 35-37s or so.
